Hello friends!! We have such an amazing blog full of PERFECT transitional pieces for you today!! Going from spring to summer styles - AND to summer nights! - can be challenging, but these outfits and their gorgeous colors will take all of the guesswork out of it!! I am so excited to showcase some AMAZING new Doe and Rae tops and KanCan bottoms! The best brands all in one stop for you!! Enjoy!!!
First off, we have this gorgeous moss-green, light weight sweater! I paired it in two ways for you so that you can see how versatile it is!! First off, for those cooler summer nights, this is a wonderful top to put over a tank with some cute jeans like these light blue KanCans! The top fits true to size, I am wearing a small. It has a little bit of room so you can tuck it in or let it flow! The bottoms also fit true to size - I am wearing a size 7 in these. They are the perfect color and have the right amount of stretch!
I also wanted to show this top as a cover-up for a swimsuit! After a day on the boat or by the pool, this is perfect to throw over your swimsuit! There are endless ways to style this piece and the color is a perfect one to bring your spring wardrobe into summer!! The jean shorts I paired these with were a size 5 in KanCan. I sized down from a 7 in these.
My next tank is a favorite of mine - I own it in multiple colors and when I saw that Doe and Rae brought it back in this gorgeous hue, I knew that Sistique needed it on their shelves! It has a beautiful (and forgiving) peplum bottom, but the eyes are immediately drawn to the lace inset in the middle! You can show a hint of skin, without being too revealing! It all works so well together and taken an ordinary tank to the next level! Perfect for a night out, this tank top has such a perfect color to wear with black jeans or white shorts! I love all of the little details that make this piece so unique! I am wearing a small in this - it fits true to size.
This pink top can go from work (with a blazer over to the top) to happy hour with absolutely no problems! This "business in the front" top can work with white bottoms and a jean jacket, or take it to the next level and show off the "party in the back" that makes this top the AMAZING piece that it is!! I love this shirt and the bold color so much for summer!! The length on this piece is wonderful and gives it many options for tucking or leaving out. It fits true to size - I am wearing a small.
The last top that I want to showcase is this beautiful green high neck tank. It has a ribbed body that hides any flaws (my fave texture!!) and adorable braided straps. The details on this piece take it to the next level. It is an everyday-wearing tank that looks great and can be dressed up or down. The beautiful color is wonderful for spring cookouts and summer days on the water! I am wearing a small in this top, as well. The jean shorts that I am wearing fit a little bigger, so I sized down in these! I loved them and the looser fit they offered - the two buttons were an adorable touch, as well!!
These black distressed jeans were a fun find and will work so well with any of these tops!! I wear a size 7 in these - so they fit true to size for me!
